re:nature - Vision Quest Facilitation

Leading re:nature - Vision Quests in the European Tradition

Our two-year training courses in re:nature - Facilitation and re:nature - Ritual Design can be extended by two apprenticeships at vision quests (12 days each).

Upon completion of the assistantship, you will be empowered to conduct vision searches independently for our re:nature – Approach or comparable smaller formats (such as the Tree time or lead 24 timeouts). The assistances can during or after completion of the re:nature - Facilitation or Advanced Ritual Training to be done. The appointments can be chosen freely from our Visionfast groups.

Vision Quest Facilitation as a «Spiritual Service»

re:nature – Vision Quests are grand and powerful nature rituals within the tradition of ancient initiation rites. They open up spaces that lead into the depths of living being, piercing through biographical and emotional layers. In the facilitation, we therefore consciously align ourselves with the qualities of nature, which we experience through the seasons, among other things. The preparation phase (corresponding to the season of autumn) is about the paradoxical ability of precise guidance and simultaneous inner letting go. The threshold phase (corresponding to winter) is about the ability to find complete trust in greater forces while simultaneously always being prepared for emergencies. The aftercare period (corresponding to spring) requires the ability for heartfelt improvisation – mirroring the stories is an unpredictable, wonderful dance through the feelings and wisdom of human life facets.

The most important thing we want to convey at the level of inner attitude for vision quest facilitation is the powerful, spiritual attitude of non-doing, not knowing, not wanting – combined with clearly structured and competent leadership. The facilitation of rituals in general is always a service to the living and connects us humans with the more-than-human world, our ancestors, and the Natural Order behind all things.

Content of the re:nature expansion - Vision quest guide

  • Knowledge of the symbolism of initiation as found in our fairy tales
  • Knowledge of the structure of transformation and initiation from a religious studies perspective
  • Knowledge of the history of the vision quest in Europe
  • Knowledge of the role and responsibilities of management specifically in re:nature – Visions Searches
  • Creating documentation for a vision quest process
  • Knowledge of the ritualistic design and the energetic-ritualistic progression
  • Knowledge of organisation and materials
  • Knowledge of the significance and design of group teachings
  • Discussion of difficult cases, unusual courses of events, emergency scenarios, threshold contacts and one's own role/competence in dealing with them
  • Refining the technique of mirroring and one's own mirroring competence
  • Self-care in leadership, knowledge of projection behaviour and ethics
  • Training leadership from the attitude of non-doing, service to ritual as service to the highest life principle (responsibility for the good framework, but not for the content and apparent success)
  • Deepening your own process (while participants are on their break, you will spend 24 hours in the forest accompanied by us)
